I have 5 of these BRW fingerboard blanks big enough to cut two boards from each. I would be interested in a trade for something interesting.

Maybe a trade for a Centerline Finder jig would be an even trade. I'm planning on selling them for around $49, but with the sale around $45. That BR is absolutely gorgeous!

Drool....

So what are you looking for? What do you want?
Interested in some lightly flamed mahogany?
How about a nice set of Cocobolo?

Don't say my BRW Brock...

Ok, I'll stop...we probably aren't supposed to be buying the stuff before the 10th...

I have a few things I will only sell, and a few things I would be willing to trade. This is one of those things I might trade if I find something interesting.

The really weird thing about these boards are that they are almost too much bling. I have not found a good application to use one yet.

Every conversation Don is going to start with... "So, when are you going to sell me a set of that outrageous BRW...." just get used to it.

Not too much for me! There's nothing I like better than blingy brazilian fretboards and bridges.
What's your price?!

Yeah, I know, it is the smell that gives it away.

Hey Brock! Those 6th and 7th sets in your other thread....Madrose or Ziricote? Nice!

It is LMI's madrose special grade. It is very nice. When they are dry the sides and backs don't match perfectly (the sides are a little more brown and the backs are a little more red) and I am having a tough time getting anybody interested in them. Once you wet them with Naptha you can't see any color difference though... they are a very good match with finish on. I thought about putting a wash coat of shellac on one side to "prove it" to potential buyers.... but I just haven't done it. For the right price (or right trade) I will let them go.

I sure hope LMI gets more of these really high end grades.
